Lauren K. McCormick is a postdoctoral research associate at the Center for Culture, Society, and Religion at Princeton University. She received her PhD in religion from Syracuse University and created a web exhibit and podcast about Judean Pillar Figurines. She is the author of “Paint: A Fourth Dimension of Sculpture” (Expedition Magazine, 2023); coauthor with David Ben-Shlomo of “Judean Pillar Figurines and ‘Bed Models’ from Tell en Naṣbeh: Typology and Petrographic Analysis” (Bulletin of the American Society of Overseas Research, 2021); and coeditor with Elizabeth Knott of Ambiguity in the Ancient Near East: Mental Constructs, Material Records, and Their Interpretations (Brepols, 2025).
